Thank you for considering applying for membership at Doylestown Country Club.

All applicants require two active sponsors, one of whom needs to be a Proprietary Certificate holder with the Club. Applications and new memberships are by invitation only from an active member. An application must list the two sponsor names; any applications missing that information will not be accepted until such time that two names are provided. The application below is provided as a convience to our Members that are referring an applicant to the Club. If you are prepared to submit the application upon an invitiation to do so, please download the form and return to the DCC offices with the applicable application fee.
If you are new to the area and do not know members, it may be possible to still gain membership. The first steps involve setting up a tour and conducting an informal interview with the Membership Coordinator. Should the Membership Coordinator make a recommendation to the Membership Committee for a second evaluation with the prospect, the Membership Chairman or other applicable Membership Committee person will make contact with the prospect for additional interviews or meet-and-greets to get aquainted with the prospect. If after the appropriate number of meetings and interactions, the Membership Committee person may then make a formal invitation to the prospect. Prospects desiring to go through this process should expect at least 21 to 30 days to achieve the necessary interviews and sponsors prior to actual submisison of an application.

The Doylestown Board of Directors reviews all applications, and reserves the right to reject any applicants if they do not meet the application criteria.

As outlined in the DCC By Laws, the application process at minimum lasts 14 days. This period is called the “applicant review period”. During this time the prospect does not have Club access, and will not be granted ability to use the facilities until after a final Board approval vote. During the 14 day review process, the applicant’s sponsors will submit letters of support for the application and the office will conduct background or credit checks as necessary. After the 14 day period is completed, the Board of Directors in a timely manner will review the applicant’s entire file and provide a final approval or rejection vote. The final step of application requires a new member orientation with the Membership Coordinator or Membership Chairman. As such, all applicants should expect a 21 to 30 day application process (14 day review period, 2 to 5 day period for Board review and vote, 2 to 5 day period to schedule orientation).
